Today was a good day.
A dang beautiful, good day.

Today was a good day.
A dang beautiful, good day.

A peek into my tiny home.
I spent my weekend curled up in bed with a cold that seems to have knocked me right off my feet. It hasn’t been fun. But you know what? It has given me a reason to just.. chill.
I usually spend my weekends out and about running errands, meeting up with friends, or perusing through my favourite shops (and finding new ones). And I love doing that - exploring. But then I go back to work from Monday to Friday, come home at night, and I just keep going. Go, go, go. No breaks.
This weekend was such a nice break. I stayed in my PJs, napped every few hours, and caught up on so many shows & movies I had been wanting to watch. It was nice. And relaxing. Kleenex, Advil & Gatorade aside, I needed a weekend like this.
2013 holds promise.
But 2012? It’s a hard year to beat. The year I completed my undergrad. The year I moved to Toronto, and began my career with a company that I feel so proud to be a part of. The year “home” stopped being my parents’ house, and started being my own place. Weird. The year my friends really grew. In numbers, maturity and closeness. 2012 is a hard year to beat. It’s been so full of greatness. So full of high-fives, squeals and hard-earned rewards.
But, I think that the best is yet to come.
To 2013. And to making it count!

Ahh, Christmas. You were good.

Despite the cold weather, our Christmas was filled with warmth. I’ve got such a great family, and that’s all I could really ever ask for.
Merry, merry!
