… Ladies.
I spent the past five days at my friend Brad’s cottage. It was the perfect way to close off such an unforgettable summer. The first summer we could all go to the bars together. The first summer with “the abode” as our home base. The first summer we all came back together from all being entirely apart. The first summer we realized that we are growing up, and that growing up is just as fun as it is scary.
And so, I present to you my week at the cottage in series of photos that ooze and drip the true meaning of friendship. You will see support, laughter, trust, and comfort. I feel lucky that I have such awesome friends, but before I get all mushy on ya’ll… just see for yourself. My friends rock.
This is Brad teaching me how to water ski. I learned that if you repeat “keep your arms straight, keep your arms straight” to yourself enough. . you will indeed keep your arms straight. This leads to water skiing success.

This is Bradley & Lauren taking the plunge. Cliff jumping. If this isn’t foreshadowing, I don’t know what is.

This is to prove that they’re really cute together. Especially when Brad smiles properly.

This is Solange and I. My bestest girl in the whole wide world. The only reason I still go on msn messenger.

This is us three girls. We stick together. We work. Lauren teases me, I take it, and Solange laughs.

This is what “lifers” look like. We have taken Bradley through dating, breakups, and many many laughs. He has boney shoulders and has difficulty smiling for pictures. Both Solange’s parents and mine want us to marry Bradley. Bradley does not want to marry either of us. We still love him though.

This is how we look when we’re getting all clean. I think that even when we’re soaping up, we look pretty freaking classy.
