Oktoberfest is a festival where people drink obscene amounts of beer, and then sing crazy songs that have words in them that are definitely not english.
It’s the festival where you never say “no” to “want another one?”, and the festival where doing the polka and the chicken dance is expected.
It’s actually a blast. And it kicks off this Friday!
Tradition holds that everyone comes home for Thanksgiving, and kicks off the weekend with a solid night of hanging out in an arena drinking out of plastic cups, and hugging everyone you recognize.
Anyways… this is S & me last Oktoberfest… our first Oktoberfest. Now we’re ol’ seasoned pros, and will remember to sing Aerosmith louder this year.
