Weekend.
My weekend went by too quickly. I can’t even believe that today is Monday. But it is, and that’s just the way shit is.
I went to Ikea yesterday with my Momma, and bought some beautiful things for my house!
Okay, they’re not BEAUTIFUL, but they’re pretty sweet for what I need. I got 2 new sets of bedsheets, one a crisp white, and another a seafoam green-ish/teal-ish colour that I’m super infatuated with right now. I also got a new lampshade and put it on the lamp base I bought on sale a few weeks ago (I will post a picture of this, the transformation is pretty incredible), and I also got a new laundry hamper … and that’s it actually! Wow, I spent a long time in there to only come out with one bag full. I still can’t wait to move into my new place & get all of my stuff organized.
I’m just at work now, and a fancy man (?) who works here just walked by me wearing allllllll pink, yes, socks and shoes included. I usually expect interesting attire from this guy, and always matching women’s jewelery, but this is too much for me to handle on a Monday morning.
